Your St. Louis wedding & portrait photographer
Photography worth
looking forward to.
I’m Chantel Marie, a St. Louis photographer for weddings, couples, families, maternity, and senior portraits. Expect beautiful light, thoughtful direction, and the freedom to be yourself. We’ll plan around what matters to you, then turn your favorite photographs into something you can hold.
You bring the personality. I’ll bring the camera.

I hope this is the first of many
Your milestones.
Your family’s history.
We might meet for your senior portraits, your wedding, or a family session. Wherever we begin, I’d love to photograph the milestones that follow. As your family grows, those photographs become part of its history. One day, I hope I’ll be photographing your children’s milestones, too.
What does a session with me look like?
A little guidance.
A lot of laughter.
It starts with getting to know you.
Your ideas, your people, what you love, and what makes you nervous. We’ll choose outfits and a location that work together and feel right for you.
You’ll know what to do.
I’ll guide you from head to toe and shape poses around you. We’ll mix editorial portraits with candid prompts, movement, and plenty of laughing along the way.
There’s room to be yourselves.
Hold hands. Play with your kids. Laugh at each other. I’m watching for the little interactions you didn’t plan, so you can enjoy the people you came with.
Your family sets the pace.
If your child has special needs, tell me what helps them feel comfortable. I’ll adapt my approach, prompts, and pace to your family, with room for breaks when you need them.
“She makes your session super fun and she is so easy to talk to/work with.”

Hi, I’m Chantel.
If a camera comes out and you suddenly forget how to be a person, I get it. You don’t need to impress me. I want to get to know you, hear your ideas, and help you feel comfortable enough to try them.
I’m a mama of six, a veteran, and very happy to pack my camera for a trip. I love a good plan, but I’m also paying attention when your kid decides the plan is now something else.
Take a look around.
Let’s plan your photos.
What to expect
Here’s how
we’ll do this.
You don’t need to know how any of this works before you reach out. That’s what the first call is for.
Let’s Plan Your SessionFirst, tell me your ideas
We’ll start with a 15 minute call to talk about your vision, who’s coming, and what you’d love to remember. Bring your ideas or your questions. You don’t need to have it all figured out.
We’ll plan the details together
I’ll help you choose a date, find the right location, and put your outfits together. We’ll talk through what everyone needs to feel comfortable, so you arrive knowing what to expect.
Your session. My guidance.
I’ll pose you from head to toe, give you candid prompts, and make room for the laughter and unexpected moments. We’ll create editorial portraits and photographs of you enjoying your people.
A sneak peek within 24 to 48 hours
I’ll send a link with your first photographs while I edit the rest of your gallery. A little something to enjoy while you wait.
Your full gallery, a couple of weeks later
You’ll receive your finished gallery with the portraits, candid moments, and little details from your session. Take your time looking through it and finding your favorites.
Your favorites, made for your home
We’ll walk through your gallery together on Zoom and explore albums and wall art. I’ll help you choose photographs that belong together and pieces you’ll love seeing in your home.

You might be wondering
Let’s talk
about the details.
Do I need to know how to pose?
Nope. That’s my job. I’ll show you where to stand, what to do with your hands, and give you prompts so you’re doing something instead of just staring at me. You can tell me you’re nervous. We’ll start there.
Read more about posing in the JournalWhat should I wear?
Start with something you love wearing and can actually move in. We’ll talk through outfits, colors, and our location before the session. For family photos, coordinating works. Everybody does not need to be in the exact same shirt.
Find outfit ideas in the JournalCan we come back for other milestones?
I photograph milestones. Maybe I meet you as a senior, maybe as a couple. I’d love to stick around for the next big thing, and the one after that. Your life changes, your family grows, and those photos become part of your family’s history. Hopefully, I’ll get to photograph your kids’ milestones one day, too.
Where are you based?
I’m based in St. Louis, Missouri, and also photograph in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m available for travel worldwide, so tell me where you’re planning your session or celebration.
Read my travel planning guideWhen will I see my photographs?
Your sneak peek comes through a link within 24 to 48 hours. The full gallery follows in a couple of weeks, with a Zoom call to look at albums and wall art. Boudoir sessions also include a reveal on the day of your session.
